This afternoon and evening were really trying for me/us. We have a wedding to attend next weekend, therefore, a dress is necessary. However, dresses and I have never gotten along and I dread every second of it Dress shopping. Surprisingly, I was pretty successful in my search, but it took a long time and patience. Especially with a tired and hungry 4yr old that's bored outta her mind and doesn't understand why this isn't about her. However,

, Aj and I survived the experience without to much of a fuss. However, I did find something strange when we got to JcPennies around 5pm and we immediately went to the bathroom first. When Aj and myself finished going potty, Tee had gone off to look at some clothes and Aj started yelling Mommy Darling a few times as we walked around looking for her. We were followed by an employee, a young woman came up and asked Aj if she needed help looking for her Mommy and then looked at me funny. I smiled and said that I was her Mother too and Aj agreed and then we found Tee. A few minutes later, she stopped by us again saying "oh, I see you found your other Mommy now. That's good, now is there anything I can help you guys find?" We all said No, but she lingered close by for a long time. I was getting slightly upset because I believed that maybe we were being racially profiled. dresses for second weddings
That was until Aj and I just finished watching the news and saw that an 11yr old girl went missing from JcPennies this evening and maybe some memo went out to all store employees to be aware of Children Abductions and she was being cautious of a possible lost little girl. Anyways, the story really resinated with both us because we were just there, well, not the same Pennies, but Aj doesn't know that. She just recognized the name of the store and knew we were there tonight. The first thing Aj said was "hey, we were there. Mom, we need to pray to God right now that whatever evildoers took that girl release her safely to her family. And help me to stay close to my mom's and nobody take me." God bless my sweet daughter's soul and please share this so this little girl can be found safely and brought back into her families arms.
